When web content is enabled and you ware working online, Registry Explorer will include a web page with a commercial.
This web page is retrieved over the internet.
Other than this, Registry Explorer will not make any internet connections.
No data is being sent over the internet, only the web page is being retrieved.
This can be disabled completely by disabling web content.
The web site can keep statistics of how many times a web page was retrieved. When you click on a banner, statistics of the number of clicks will also be kept.
Other than this, no information is being gathered.
The statistics are not linked to individual users, but only to the number of times a banner was displayed or clicked on.

The mailing list is only used to announce new versions of Registry Explorer, major site updates or information about related projects.
Under no conditions will the addresses in the mailing list be given out to anyone else.
