This is a list of registry hacks that change the behavior of Morpheus

Search bitrate

This setting changes the maximum bandwidth that can be used for a search.

Go to the registry key HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Morpheus.

Look for the following REG_DWORD value:

LimitBitrate

If it doesn't exist, create it as a REG_DWORD value.

Set this value to 0 for a search bandwidth limit of 320 kbps (default) or to 1 for a limit of 128 kbps.

Maximum search results

Stop functioning as a supernode

Supernodes are used by other computers in the network for searching. Your computer will not function as a supernode if it has low bandwidth. You should prevent your computer from being a supernode if you do have high bandwidth but you have almost reached your traffic limit or you have another reason for keeping traffic low. Functioning as a supernote doesn't affect performance much and is recommended in most cases.

Go to the registry key HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Morpheus\Advanced.

Look for the following value:

SuperNode

Set this value to 1 if you want your computer to function as a supernode. Set to 0 to prevent this.

This value is the bandwidth limit in kBytes/second. It must be a power of 2 from 8 up to 8192, or 0 for no limit.

Enable or disable prompt for installing new updates
