Tweak of the week: Add command prompt in every folder's context menu

Tweak #1 - august 1, 2001

This tweak adds a new item "command prompt" in the context menu of every folder.
When selected, this menu item will open a command prompt with the current directory set to this folder.

The tweak

Look for the following key in your computer's registry:

HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Folder\shell

In this key, add a subkey

Command_Prompt

In this subkey, add a new subkey

command

In this subkey, set the default value to

C:\WINNT\system32\Cmd.exe %1
